A "cookie" is a small text file created by some websites on your computer when you access a certain website, with the aim of storing and transporting information. Cookies are sent from a web server (the computer on which the visited website is running) to your browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and they are stored on the same; they are then re-sent to the website upon subsequent visits.

Some operations cannot be completed without using cookies, which, in some cases, are technically necessary. In other cases, the website uses cookies to facilitate and assist browsing or to enable you to use specifically requested services.
Cookies may remain on the system even for long periods and they may also contain a unique identification code. This allows the websites that use them to keep track of your browsing on that website, for statistical or advertising purposes, to create a personalised profile of you based upon the pages that you have visited, and to show you and/or send you targeted advertising (known as Behavioural Advertising).

The internet websites indicated above use different types of technical and non-profiling cookies.
The Controller, following the indications provided by the Privacy Supervisory Authority in the general measure dated 8 May 2014, reports below the specific categories of cookies used, their purposes and any consequences of their de-selection:

Third party anonymous cookies
Third party anonymous cookies are used; those cookies enable the collection and registration, anonymously, of information on the pages of each individual website consulted, but they do not allow for the visitor to be identified, and they are not in any way combined with other information. Those data are used exclusively to track and examine the use of the websites by users, and to compile statistics based upon information collected anonymously and using data in aggregate form.

The "Google Analytics" analysis service uses cookies. For further information visit the following internet page:

The internet website uses special "buttons" (known as “social buttons/widgets”) depicting the icons of social networks (for example, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Those buttons allow you, when browsing on the websites, to interact, with a "click", directly with those social networks. In that case, the social network acquires data on your visit, while the Controller does not share any browsing information or any of your data acquired via its website with the social networks accessible through the social buttons/widgets. Those services do not issue third party cookies when browsing on this website and can be considered mere connection links to third party websites. They do not facilitate the sharing of information.
The data is processed using IT and electronic media by specifically instructed internal persons. The data are stored in electronic archives with complete guarantee of the minimum security measures required by the legislator.
The data collected will not be disclosed and disseminated. The data may be communicated to third parties, other than the Controller, the processors - internal and also external to the company, and the processing officers identified and appointed in accordance with Articles 29 and 30 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 as amended and supplemented, where necessary, for the purposes indicated above (such third parties include companies providing IT support which guarantee the correct functioning of the portal) engaged in the correct and regular pursuit of the described purposes. In any case, any processing by third parties will occur according to fairness and in respect of existing legal rules.

The data subject may exercise his/her rights in accordance with the law, by contacting the data controller, by the methods indicated in the “Controller, Processor and Privacy Communications” section. According to the methods provided by law or by the applicable regulations, the data subject has the right to:
• Access the personal data and to know of their origin, purposes and aims of processing, the details of the controller(s), processor(s) and entities to which they may be disclosed;

• Obtain the personal data in electronic format, for themselves or for the new insurer;
• Lodge a complaint with the Controller and/or the competent data protection authority.

Attention: any complete or partial deactivation of technical cookies may compromise the use of the website functions reserved to registered users. On the other hand, public contents can be used even when completely disabling cookies.

You can select/de-select individual cookies using your browser (by selecting the settings menu, clicking on internet options, opening the box relating to privacy and selecting the desired level of blocking of cookies). The websites will not remember you, the pages you have visited will not be memorised in the chronology and new cookies will be erased. The anonymous browsing function does not, however, guarantee anonymity on the Internet, as it is only used not to keep the browsing data in the browser while, on the other hand, the browsing data will continue to remain available to the website managers and connectivity providers.
Third party cookies may be disabled by obtaining information from the third party's privacy policy, via the link indicated above, or by contacting the same directly. Disabling “third party” cookies does not prejudice browsing in any way.
